Searching a patient file 1. Enter a search term in the search field.

NOTE:

If you do not know exactly how to write a name,

you can carry out a so-called "asterisk search,"

e.g. "Mi*" for "Miller."

2. Click the arrow next to the search field.

The search procedure starts.

The search results are displayed.

3. In order to return to the complete patient list, delete

the search term in the search field.

4. Click the arrow next to the search field.

The complete patient list is shown again.

Creating a patient file If you create a new patient file, you must fill out at least

the following fields (in the file, each marked with "*"):

• Date of birth

•Gender

•Ethnicity

• Doctor supervising treatment (if the current user is a

doctor, this field is filled out automatically)
